Ushers | St. Cross Episcopal Church

"Ushering is an important ministry at St. Cross Episcopal Church. Ushering at all services is a great way to get to know everyone at St. Cross and assist with the service. Ushers also assist at weddings and funeral services. Not only do you increase your vocabulary by learning what the narthex and the garth are, but you also assist with communion and presenting the offering. Ushers express Christ’s love through hospitality and glorifying God by serving others. Ushers greet, provide assistance and make everyone feel welcome in a sacred space.
