Sociable Seniors
The Sociable Seniors of St. Cross and Christ Church is a fun, vibrant ministry. We generally meet twice a month (on the second and fourth Thursdays) to have lunch together, chat with each other, hear interesting presentations, and once in a while to take a fun trip together.
Members support each other by carpooling to and from church and by coming together to assist one another in times of need. A ministry of get-well, sympathy, congratulations and birthday cards is a continuing and important part of their service.
Sociable Seniors is one example of God’s abundant gifts to us all and how those gifts can be shared in community. We are blessed to have such a fun, vibrant and full of life group of people come together in fellowship at St. Cross; if you think you might enjoy having a fun outing once or twice a month, contact the office to learn all about it!
