Where do we see the Why already?

In this life it is easy to talk the talk, but when it comes to following in Christ's path and walking the walk it becomes much more difficult to put lofty, challenging ideas into practice.
The pandemic has created a unique challenge in implementing our Why statement To be a community who serves others as a sign of God’s love both in trying to serve our own community as well as those outside of our Church.
The St Cross community is not to be deterred. We have seen the Why in practice in a myriad of ways. We remain dedicated to helping refugees find a fresh start, continuing our Laundry Love and Neighbor to Neighbor programs in a Covid minded fashion, and our parishioners continue to find ways to serve from a distance doing things like making sizable donations to the Southern Poverty Law Center and being flexible and committed to various forms of online worship ranging from our Sunday services, nightly prayers, and our weekly meditations on The Path (which is ongoing and would welcome new faces on the journey).
