Vestry Candidate: Joseph Desparte | St. Cross Episcopal Church

I would like to serve on the St. Cross Vestry because: Since joining St Cross in 2011 the church has grown to be part of our family, like a great church should. Being that St Cross has done so much for our family I wanted to be more involved and give something back in return.

In my life’s work, I am/have been particularly good at these skills: My entire adult career has either been in the United States Air Force or directly supporting it as a civilian employee. Working w/ People/Personalities; Small/Large Scale Programmatics & Management; Successfully Cultivating a Team Ethos; Briefing/Public Speaking.

Other skills that I have which could be valuable on the Vestry: Organization (hate to have a mess); Positive Attitude.

Special hobbies/interests which I enjoy: Surfing; Volleyball; Working out/Fitness.

The area of ministry that interests me most is: People!!! I really enjoy working with people towards a common goal and achieving it.
