Vestry Candidate: Jessica Gregg
I would like to serve on the St. Cross Vestry because: I know it is important to give fully as a servant of Christ and believe that giving my time and focus to our Church will help me recharge both emotionally and spiritually.
In my life’s work, I am/have been particularly good at these skills: problem solving and conflict resolution (I have 6 brothers and sisters), understanding and motivating others.
Other skills that I have which could be valuable on the Vestry: I have served on leadership and event planning committees for my law firm and have comfortable experience navigating differing cultural and generational viewpoints.
Special hobbies/interests which I enjoy: Hiking, puzzles, and long walks with our Pomeranian and Maltese.
The area of ministry that interests me most is: I have enjoyed working to assist in weddings at St. Cross - I believe that the traditions of our church and our faith are important to maintain and that in doing so we can encourage those who have grown disinterested or indifferent in their faith.
