Vestry Candidate: Ann Rogerson
I would like to serve on the St. Cross Vestry because: Now that my kids are almost grown and independent, I have more time to contribute. I was raised in the spirit of community service and this year one of my goals is to be more active. I know I can make an impact on the Vestry team.
In my life’s work, I am/have been particularly good at these skills: Organization, Listening, Consensus reaching
Other skills that I have which could be valuable on the Vestry: in my 30 years as an Associate Director in live television, I can help with social media and video production; I’ve never met a spread sheet I didn’t love; I’m proficient in creating schedules in an effort to stay on track and under budget.
Special hobbies/interests which I enjoy: Active with CBS Big Brothers / Big Sisters of Southern California; Active in Laundry Love ministry at St Cross; I like organizing basically anything.
The area of ministry that interests me most is: Not certain, but I’m open to work anywhere I am needed.
At the St. Cross Annual Meeting on Sunday, January 27 (beginning immediately after the 10 AM service is completed), among the church business we attend to is electing new members to the vestry. Get to know the 4 vestry candidates by clicking on the following links:
