Trunk-or-Treat | Oct 29th
Halloween is around the corner! It's that time of year when we start thinking about the annual St. Cross Trunk-or-Treat. What is Trunk-or-Treat? Well, Trunk-or-Treat is our version of trick-or-treat that brings families together in a safe and fun environment. It's when parishioners decorate the trunks of their cars in wild and creative themes, then kids visit each trunk collecting candy and playing games! After church on Sunday, Oct. 29th, we'll block off a section of the church parking lot for our Trunk-or-Treat festivities. The Youth Group also participates in the Halloween fun by creating a haunted house appropriate for all age groups.
Children, youth, and adults are encouraged to wear their costumes to church that day and then head right over to the parking lot for the party after church. We'd love your help by being one of the trunks for this year's festivities. If you'd like to decorate your trunk for the event, please let Rev. Stephen (ssmith@stcross.org) know.
Peace,
Stephen
