So much coming up at St. Cross!
There's a lot to announce, but first one cancellation:
Parking Lot Fundraiser Canceled for This Weekend: First Memorial Day, then the Fourth of July and now Labor Day -- our parking lot will be CLOSED for the weekend. Our pilgrimage youth are looking forward to when the lot can be open again and they can resume their fundraising.
St. Cross Day is right around the corner. We will be celebrating our patronal feast on Sunday, Sept. 13. Bishop Diane will be preaching and will join us for coffee hour. If you zoom, please come to coffee hour on Sept 13 to welcome Bishop Diane.
We will also have Family Faith at Five on Sept. 12 and Faith at Five on Sept. 13. Be on the looking out Monday for signups. We are asking everyone to wear red for St. Cross Day. We will open our Facebook page on Sept 13 for you to post your photo of you worshiping with us at 10 and wearing your St. Cross red!
Blessing of the Devices on 9/12 from 9am-Noon and at Faith at 5: Since many of us will be learning and working from home this year, St. Cross children and youth (and adult learners too!) are invited to bring their learning devices by the St. Cross parking lot for a special blessing. Families can drive through the inner parking lot and one of our clergy will be there to bless computers, tablets, phones, notebooks, backpacks, you name it! You don't even need to get out of the car! This will also be an opportunity for our Sunday School Students to pick-up their "Sunday School Bags". The bags will have various materials our Sunday School Students will need for "Virtual Sunday School". Please let Rev. Stephen know if you have any questions.

Last, but not least, a huge thank you to all who have been able to keep their pledge up to date and have paid off (or are paying off) their capital campaign commitment. With the loss of revenue from groups that meet at the church and weekly offering outside of pledges, every dollar of your support helps keeps our budget in the black. Thank you for your dedication and keeping St. Cross a priority in your giving.
