People Look East | St. Cross Episcopal Church

As many know, my favorite Advent hymn is "People look East." I love it as it is about preparing a place, a place in all of creation, in our homes and in our hearts for the arrival of the Christ child. No matter the details left at this moment, my prayer for you is that you will take a moment to stop, take a breath and think about where you are going to find the love of Jesus amid the ribbons and bows, feasts and festivities.

Please join us as we prepare as a congregation to welcome the birth of Jesus. We will be streaming services at 3pm and 9pm on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day at 10am, we will stream an organ recital of Christmas songs, and we will be streaming Lessons and Carols on Sunday, Dec. 26 at 10am.

Together we will proclaim joy to the world as God enters our darkness and shines God's love to one and all.
