O Come all ye faithful
While we are on the cusp of both Advent 4, followed a few hours later by Christmas Eve this coming Sunday, I keep coming back to the hymn that opens both of our Christmas Eve services. It is my fervent hope as we wait with expectation the coming of the Christ child, that wherever you find yourself on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day that you pause and take a moment to be joyful, and yes even triumphant that God sent his beloved Son to us. And in turn, you will share that joy with someone else. Now of course, I also hope that you will join us at either the 4pm or the 9pm Christmas Eve service, or at 10am on Christmas Day. There will be candy canes and oranges, all your favorite hymns, and all the people you love and who love you. I know it is a little early, but on behalf of the clergy and staff, We wish you and your family a very merry Christmas.
