More Faith at 5; New Opportunities
Next Sunday, August 9 we will have our second Sunday Faith at 5 service. Again, this will be limited to 35 people. If you attended the service last week, we ask that you wait until Saturday to sign up to give the opportunity for others to attend. All social distancing rules will continue to be observed and masks are required at all times on the St. Cross campus.
The Vestry and Clergy agree that we want to give opportunities to talk about racism in our communities, our church and in ourselves. To that end on Wednesday August 12 from 7:30 to 8:30 pm we will have our first offering. This will be a few short videos of our Presiding Bishop and some follow up discussion questions. To paraphrase one of our modern day theologians, Kelly Brown Douglas, "If the moral arc of the universe is bent toward justice, just get on the arc, it doesn't matter where. Just get on the arc." We hope you will join us for this initial offering and we will have more programming and discussions to come.
