June 16: Lindsay Salem on Botswana and the Peace Corps

On Sunday, June 16, we will have a special guest speaker in the Guild Room after the 10 AM service. Lindsay Salem is an awesome St. Cross young adult who is finishing the first year of her 27-month service in Botswana with the Peace Corps. She has been working at a clinic and district-level office focusing on the country’s HIV/AIDS response.

Lindsay will talk about her experiences so far in Botswana, including the joys and challenges of her work, and will share what she’s learned about Botswana’s incredible people and culture.
