Invitation to See the Family Promise Family Resource and Respite Center
The following message is from Family Promise:
We are so excited to invite you all to see the Family Resource and Respite Center in San Pedro on Sunday, April 24th between 12PM - 3PM. Last year, we shared that we began converting unused rooms into family rooms to serve as a static shelter as an extension of our partnership with San Pedro United Methodist. The space accommodates four families, two office rooms, showers, and outdoor space. We've partnered with Ikea, who is providing all beds, seating, and decor to ensure this is an inviting space for parents and children.
We are grateful to be able to provide more shelter options for families and we could not have done this if it hadn't been for all of your support. So, Family Promise staff and board members would love for you all to see the space and learn more about current programs. Hope to see you there!
