In-Person, Online, We Are Still the Church
I always love running into a parishioner and hearing that they are attending church online. As I cannot see who is tuning in to worship with us, it is hard for me to know who is there and who is not there. Pre-pandemic I would often scan the pews to see who was there, or missing, or hadn't been for a while. It is much more challenging to do that now as the clergy don't get to interact with those who are watching on Facebook or YouTube or the website. So, this is a reminder to all of us, whether you attend online or in-person that we are still church together, bound by the Holy Spirit. We are still here to support one another in prayer and in fellowship. Think about who usually sits near you in the pews. Reach out to that person. Send a card, an email, a text, or call them up. Let them know you are thinking about them! And know that the clergy and staff are thinking about all of you!
Peace,

Annual Meeting
Our annual meeting will be online Sunday January 30 at 11:30 am. This is the time when we vote for who will represent us at our diocesan convention, who will represent you on the Vestry, and who will be making decisions on behalf of the parish on the Endowment Committee. We are also exploring some big dreams and possibilities as we continue to embrace being a community that serves others as a sign of God's love. Please do join us online. The link will be send in next week's weekly email.
