First Sunday of Advent | St. Cross Episcopal Church

Advent Market is THIS SUNDAY, Nov. 28, after the 8 and 10am services!

All Parish Advent Activity on Sunday, Nov. 28th, 11:15am in the Parish Hall - Join us this Sunday after the 10am service for our annual All Parish Advent Activity. This year we'll do "Good Deed December." We'll have mason jars filled with pieces of paper that each have a suggestion for a good deed for the day. Pick a jar and decorate it however you would like with the various decorating materials we'll have on hand. Then take your jar home and for every day of Advent, take out one piece of paper, read the suggestion, and then go do that good deed for the day. We hope this activity will help us share a bit of goodness with each other and bring a bit of light into our lives during this special season.

On Sunday, Dec. 5, we have the MESSIAH concert at 4pm. We hope you will join us!

In the evening of Sunday, Dec. 12 we will have the Longest Night service. A time to honor feelings of sadness and loneliness around the holidays.

Sunday, Dec. 19 is the pageant, back in the church, with masks, and a few COVID adjustments. But it will be the pageant!
