Dispatch From Canada
Dearest Friends at St Cross,
Well, we made it to Vancouver, and it is so lovely here. It’s been an eventful week and a half since I last saw you, with three days of driving to get here and then, after a few days of settling in, we had to let our precious dog, Indy, go over the Rainbow Bridge. It’s been a bittersweet time for sure, but one of the blessings I received on the way up was reading each one of the notes you wrote me on my last Sunday working at St Cross. I am overwhelmed by the love and generosity that was present in every card I read. Each note means more to me than any of you could ever know. I am also extremely grateful for all the online donations that I received. It will take me a while to thank you all individually, but I will do my best to do just that over the next several weeks. In the meantime, please know how much your love and appreciation mean to me and how much I cherish each one of you! I look forward to seeing you again sometime in November.
St Cross will always be my home away from home.
With much love and gratitude right back at ya,
Dan Wilson
