Delta Variant Update

From the very beginning the Vestry and I have tried to follow the rules of the Federal, State, County and Diocesan authorities. Last week we started with the Comfort Section for those who wanted space and masks and the Open Section for those who were vaccinated and wanted to be closer together.

Not much has changed at this time, rule-wise. However, LA County has recommended (not mandated) masks while indoors for vaccinated and unvaccinated. This Sunday we will have the same sections as last week. Like the County, we recommend that everyone wear a mask indoors but we are not mandating that anyone wear a mask indoors.

If you are unvaccinated, have children or just want more space you are welcome to be in the Comfort Section. If you are vaccinated, you are welcome in the Open Section or the comfort section. While masks are required in the Comfort Section, they are only recommended in the Open Section. Clergy will be wearing masks except when speaking.

We appreciate your grace and patience as we continue to navigate muddy waters and recommendations vs mandates. We want everyone to be welcome to worship in the sanctuary and at home as best meets your needs.
