Connection Cafe Sunday, 1/12 at 11:30 AM - Would you like to get to know St. Cross better? Let Cameron Johnson be your guide! She’s hosting anyone who is interested in getting to know more about St. Cross after church on Sunday the 12th. Meet staff, parishioners and other newcomers. Enjoy a snack and learn more about the opportunities, activities, groups and events that are available for individuals and families. MLK Weekend Youth Retreat Jan. 18-19 - The theme of this year’s MLK Weekend Youth Retreat will explore a faith-based response to mass incarceration. All middle and high school youth are invited to participate in this joint project between St. Luke’s in Long Beach and St. Cross. The overnight weekend will include conversation, reflection, learning and relationship building. As a follow-up to the retreat in January, the high-school participants will visit the border wall in San Diego and continue the conversation around incarceration. COOP After-Christmas Party Sunday, 4-6 PM - The St. Cross parents' group, COOP, holds its annual after-Christmas party this Sunday the 12th at 4 PM.
Annual Meeting January 26 - We join together for the Annual Meeting on Sunday, January 26th after the 10 AM service. At the Annual Meeting, we look back at the year concluded, look forward to the year to come, elect Vestry and more. Mark your calendar!
