Beach Mass This Sunday, July 21 -- Dodger Ticket Orders Due -- Bishop's Concert
Beach Mass is a hallmark of summer at St. Cross. This weekend, July 21st, is our July Beach Mass at 10 AM. We will have a full service on the beach at 22nd and the Strand -- come to the church for Summer Breakfast and a group of us will walk down together! We will have a full service with communion on the beach, and the VBS participants will be sharing a song and lessons learned from their Vacation Bible School week. Note that there will also be our regular 10 AM service in the church.
As mentioned above, don't miss this week's Summer Breakfast! Come around 9 AM (or after the 8 AM service), enjoy some breakfast and then hit the beach or the church for the service!
Dodger Ticket Orders Due Sunday, July 21: Sunday is the deadline for Dodger Ticket orders! Episcopal Night at Dodger Stadium is September 6, it's against the Giants, and there will be fireworks after the game. It's not to be missed! Get your tickets here: stcross.org/dodgers
Bishop's Concert Featuring Debby Boone - Order Before August 1st for Special Pricing: Bishop John Harvey Taylor and Canon Kathy O'Connor are pleased to invite you, as a member of the diocesan community, to the second annual Bishop's Concert, featuring Grammy Award-winning singer, actor and author Debby Boone, on Friday, October 11 at the Episcopal Residence, located at 3435 E. California Boulevard in Pasadena. Gates will be opened at 6 p.m. and refreshments will be served before the performance, which will begin at 7:30 p.m. Valet parking will be available.
